Aleksandar Pavlović

Aleksandar Pavlović is a midfielder who wants to keep the ball moving without making the game feel hurried. A 3–0 win over Stuttgart in that first season showed what he could add. Making only his second Bundesliga start, he helped supply two of Bayern's goals through set-piece deliveries. It was an early example of his passing having a direct attacking effect, alongside the work of helping the team build moves from midfield.

Pavlović made his Germany debut in a friendly against Ukraine in June 2024. He had been called into the senior group that March, but his first appearance arrived just before Euro 2024. He was selected for the tournament before illness forced him to withdraw.

He went on to be part of Bayern's Bundesliga title-winning sides in 2025 and 2026. The latter season also brought the German Cup: he started the May 2026 final as Bayern beat Stuttgart 3–0 to complete the domestic double. Later that summer, he played in all three of Germany's World Cup group matches.
