1. Information We Collect

When you create an Oddsivio account we collect account information, which is currently limited to your email address and any display preferences you choose to set. We do not ask for your name, date of birth, or payment details at signup.

As you use the service we collect usage data such as which pages you view, which matches you star or follow, and how you interact with prediction signals. This data helps us understand which features are useful and where the product falls short.

Like most web services we also receive standard device and log data when your browser connects to us: IP address, browser and operating system, referring URL, and timestamps. This is used for security, debugging, and abuse prevention.

2. How We Use It

We use the information above to operate the service, keep you signed in, improve our prediction models and user experience, and send you transactional emails — for example, account verification, password resets, and important changes to your account.

We do not sell your personal data. We do not rent it, trade it, or share it with advertisers for behavioural targeting. Aggregated, anonymised statistics about how the product is used may be shared in summaries or research write-ups, but never in a form that identifies you.

3. Cookies & Tracking

We keep cookies to a strict minimum. When you sign in, we set a single essential authentication cookie that keeps you signed in. It is HttpOnly (not readable by JavaScript), is sent only to our authentication endpoints, and cannot be turned off without breaking sign-in. If you browse without an account, we set no cookies at all unless you opt in to analytics cookies (see below).

Your display preferences, such as light or dark theme, are stored in your browser’s local storage — not in a cookie — and never leave your device.

To understand which features are useful we use Vercel Web Analytics, which is cookieless: it sets no cookie and no cross-site identifier, cannot follow you across other websites, and produces only aggregated, anonymous counts such as page views and feature usage. Because it stores nothing on your device, we run it on the basis of our legitimate interest in improving the product rather than asking for consent. If you would prefer not to be included, contact us and we will honour your objection.

We also use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used. Unlike Vercel Web Analytics, it can set a _ga cookie, so we ask for your consent first. Until you choose, and if you reject, Google Analytics runs in a cookieless mode that sets no cookie and stores nothing on your device. Only if you click Accept on our cookie banner do we enable analytics cookies. We never use it for advertising — ad-personalisation signals stay switched off. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time via Manage cookies in the footer.

4. Data Sharing

We share data only with the subprocessors we need to operate Oddsivio. Each is contractually obliged to process data only on our instructions:

  • Vercel — hosts our website and provides cookieless usage analytics.
  • Railway — hosts our backend application and databases (PostgreSQL and Redis), where your account and preferences are stored.
  • Resend — delivers our transactional and contact-form email.
  • Sentry — error and performance monitoring, used where enabled; it may receive technical context about a request, which can include your user identifier.

We do not work with advertising partners and we do not embed third-party ad networks or social trackers on our pages.

5. Your Rights

Depending on where you live you may have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, request correction of anything inaccurate, delete your account and associated data, or receive an export of your data in a portable format.

To exercise any of these rights, email us from the address on your account. We will verify your identity and respond within a reasonable window, usually well under thirty days.

6. Children

Oddsivio is a betting-adjacent product and is not directed at users under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone we believe to be under 18, and we will delete any such data we discover.

7. Changes

We may update this policy as the product evolves or as the law changes. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.

If the changes are material — for example, a new category of data collection or a new subprocessor with broad access — we will notify account holders by email before the changes take effect.

8. Contact

Oddsivio is operated independently and is not yet incorporated as a registered company. Once a legal entity is established, its name and registered address will be published here as the data controller. Until then, you can reach us about any privacy matter using the details below.

Questions, requests, or concerns about privacy can be sent through the form on our contact page; we handle privacy enquiries with priority.

If you are not satisfied with our response you may also have the right to lodge a complaint with the data protection authority in your country.

We use cookies to measure how the site is used so we can improve it. Change your choice anytime via “Manage cookies” in the footer. See our Privacy Policy.
