Football fixtures today — FAQ

What football is on today?

Today's fixture list covers 50+ competitions, from the Premier League, La Liga, Serie A, Bundesliga and Ligue 1 to the Champions League, domestic cups and leagues outside Europe. Kickoff times show in your own timezone, and the list updates with live scores while matches are being played.

How quickly do live scores update?

Scores, goals and cards update continuously while a match is being played — typically within a minute of the action. When a match ends it switches to the full-time result with the complete stats and events timeline.

Can I see fixtures and results for another day?

Yes. The date strip at the top of the list moves to any day: upcoming fixtures with kickoff times in your local timezone, or past days with final scores. Filters narrow the list to the competitions you follow.

Why do today's matches kick off at different times?

Kickoff times are set by each competition and its broadcasters. A Saturday in Europe runs from early-afternoon domestic fixtures through to late-evening kickoffs in Spain and Portugal, while matches in Brazil and MLS start after European viewers have gone to bed. Every kickoff time on this page is converted to your own timezone.

What is a match preview, and when is it written?

A match preview is a plain-English read on a fixture written before it kicks off, not a report written afterwards. Each one comes from Sirius, Oddsivio's prediction model, which weighs up to 18 factors — Elo team ratings, recent form, league position, missing players, rest days and head-to-head record among them — into a probability for a home win, a draw and an away win. The preview freezes at kickoff and is checked against the final score after full time.

Does every match get a preview?

No, and that is deliberate. Friendlies are excluded because pre-season and international friendly results carry too little signal to forecast honestly — in July and August they can be more than half of all fixtures. Sirius also declines on competitive matches where the evidence is too thin, such as a newly promoted side with no comparable history, publishing nothing rather than guessing.

How Oddsivio covers today's football

Oddsivio is a football site built to explain matches, not just list them. This page carries every fixture from 50+ competitions with kickoff times, live scores and full-time results — the same facts every scores site publishes — then adds the layer they stop at: why a game is likely to go the way it does.

Before a competitive match, Sirius — Oddsivio’s prediction model — turns up to 18 factors into a probability for a home win, a draw and an away win. That forecast freezes the moment the match starts and is never rewritten afterwards. Every frozen forecast is then checked against the final score, and the running record, misses included, is published in full on the match predictions page.

Each fixture links to its own match page, where the preview sits alongside lineups, live stats, the events timeline and goal clips from the game once they land. Browse by competition instead of by day on competitions & leagues, see how past forecasts were scored on match predictions, or watch the goals on goal highlights.

Oddsivio lists every fixture for today with live scores, then explains the ones worth your time. Each match page combines lineups, stats and goal clips with a plain-English preview written before kickoff — not a report written after it. Yesterday's results and the next few days' fixtures are one tap away on the date strip.
