Profile
Antonio Nusa is a Norwegian winger whose dribbling gives defenders more than one problem to solve. He combines speed with close control and can take the ball past a marker on either side. From the left wing, that makes both the route towards the byline and the turn towards goal credible threats.
His football education began at Langhus before he joined Stabæk’s academy. The step into senior football came quickly: in 2021 he scored against Bodø/Glimt and then twice away to Viking. Stabæk later recalled those performances when celebrating his progress from its youth system to football abroad.
Nusa moved to Club Brugge in 2021 and experienced both domestic success and European competition. In September 2022 he scored on his Champions League debut in a 4–0 away victory over Porto. His spell in Belgium also brought two league titles, adding team honours to that early individual breakthrough.
He joined RB Leipzig in August 2024 and scored the winner against Bochum on his Bundesliga debut. His ability to turn dribbling into a chance for someone else was illustrated against Hamburg in September 2026: he beat a defender before supplying Christopher Nkunku’s goal. In the same match, his free-kick delivery created a headed goal for Willi Orbán.
Norway gave Nusa his senior international debut against Jordan on 7 September 2023. He opened the scoring in a 6–0 friendly win at Ullevaal. He later scored in Norway’s victories over Italy in June and November 2025, as the national side secured its place at the 2026 World Cup.
At that tournament, Nusa scored against Côte d’Ivoire in the round of 32, receiving Martin Ødegaard’s pass on the left before moving infield and curling his shot into the far top corner. Norway won 2–1 and went on to reach the quarter-finals. Nusa came off the bench against England on 11 July, when Norway’s run ended in a 2–1 defeat after extra time.
Antonio Nusa currently plays for RB Leipzig as a left winger. He has represented Norway internationally.
