The home side led 2-0 at half-time and controlled the contest throughout, dominating possession and peppering the visitors' goal with shots. Erzurumspor offered little going forward and the scoreline worsened for them late on when Yakup Kırtay turned the ball into his own net in the 81st minute, making it 3-0 and confirming a comfortable evening for Vincenzo Italiano's side.

Sirius · Why these numbers
Before kick-off Sirius gave Beşiktaş 73%, the draw 18%, Erzurumspor FK 9%. It finished Beşiktaş 3–0 Erzurumspor FK.
Beşiktaş's rating gap decides it — Beşiktaş are clearly the stronger side on our strength rating, and that is most of Beşiktaş's 73%. The draw at 18% is lifted by the early-season fade in home wins.
Why Beşiktaş at 73%?
Beşiktaş sit 305 points higher on our strength rating — 1783 to 1478. Sides with a more than 300-point rating edge at home won 79.8% of 5,119 such games. The 300 most similar past games finished 75–15–10.
Why not higher?
Both sides are inside their first six league games — home wins land softer this early in the season, so this trims Beşiktaş's column. Across 11,040 opening-stretch games since 2010, home sides won 42.7% where the rating map expected 44.9%, with draws up 2.0 — negative in every season since 2018.
Why is the draw only 18%?
With a rating gap this size the draw starts at 14.9%. These teams' recent games average 2.5 goals — a typical goals environment. Games in that environment drew 26.2% of 27,793. Early-season fixtures add 2.0 points to the draw.
What did we measure but not count?
Beşiktaş average 16 points more possession, but the rating gap here is 305 points. Our control receipt only exists between near-equals — there it moved results; across a class gap we could not measure a separate style edge, so style scores 0 here. Erzurumspor FK are newly promoted — game 5 of their first ten at this level, where our rating knows them least. Promoted sides ran below their rating in nine of the last ten seasons — 26.5% wins in their first ten games where the rating expected 30.0% (2,793 games since 2012), fading but still visible through game nineteen. The other measured facts on this page scored nothing either.
