Profile
Endrick is a Brazilian forward whose game combines a readiness to shoot with movement across the attack. Left-footed, he can play centrally or approach goal from the right. His attacking repertoire includes early shots, direct dribbles and repeated runs into space.
Born in Brasília on 21 July 2006, he entered Palmeiras’ academy in 2016 and reached the senior side in 2022. He won Brazilian league titles in 2022 and 2023 before moving to Europe, establishing himself in a team competing for domestic honours while still progressing from youth football.
A defining contribution came against Botafogo in November 2023. With Palmeiras trailing 3–0 at half-time, Endrick scored twice and began the move for their third goal in a 4–3 comeback. The victory cut the gap to the league leaders; Palmeiras eventually secured the championship with Endrick scoring in the final-day draw at Cruzeiro.
For Brazil, his first senior goal was the winner against England at Wembley in March 2024, following up a saved Vinícius Júnior shot. He later appeared at the 2026 World Cup, including as a substitute in the 2–1 defeat by Norway that ended Brazil’s campaign in the round of 16.
He joined Real Madrid in summer 2024 and scored on both his official club debut against Valladolid and his Champions League debut against Stuttgart. The latter goal, in September 2024, made him the youngest scorer in Madrid’s European Cup history, surpassing the mark set by Raúl.
A loan agreed in December 2025 took him to Lyon for the second half of the 2025/26 season. He scored a hat-trick in a 5–2 league win at Metz in January 2026, before returning to Real Madrid that year.
That Metz performance also showed how his movement could work within a team structure. Starting mainly from the right, he attacked spaces opened by Lyon’s use of a forward who dropped away from the usual central striking position. League analysis highlighted his willingness to shoot early and keep making runs, while coach Paulo Fonseca also praised his defensive work. The threat came from the freedom to arrive in scoring positions from different starting points.
Endrick currently plays for Real Madrid as a forward. He has represented Brazil internationally.
