Arijon Ibrahimović is an attacking midfielder who can operate centrally or from either wing. From wide areas he can take on a defender; behind a striker he can help turn possession into a pass or shot.
Born in Nuremberg, he spent time in the Greuther Fürth and 1. FC Nürnberg youth systems before entering Bayern Munich's academy in 2018. Progress through Bayern's reserves led to his senior Bundesliga debut against Bochum on 11 February 2023. He came on as a substitute.
Ibrahimović then went on loan to Frosinone and Lazio, gaining senior experience in Italy. He also made his first Champions League appearance for Bayern against Shakhtar Donetsk in December 2024. Those settings gave him different tests before he found a more sustained role in Germany.
Bayern loaned him to Heidenheim in June 2025. During the 2025/26 Bundesliga season he became a regular starter, playing in an attack that used players behind the centre-forward and across the front line. Bayern's loan review highlighted his speed and the chances he made for himself and teammates.
His Germany youth route reached the under-21 side in November 2025, when he made his debut.
On 1 September 2026, Augsburg announced a loan from Bayern. Five days later, Ibrahimović started away to Eintracht Frankfurt and headed in Augsburg's equaliser. It showed a finishing side of a player also valued for carrying the ball and creating chances.
