Overview

Levadiakos in brief

Levadiakos was founded on 20 July 1961 in Livadeia, a town in Boeotia about 130 km north-west of Athens, through the merger of two local clubs: Trofonios, founded in 1928, and Pallevadiaki Enosi, founded in 1930. The club's green, blue and white colours come from those two clubs, green from Pallevadiaki and blue from Trofonios, while white, which both shared, was the main colour in the early years. Home games are played at the Levadia Municipal Stadium "Lambros Katsonis", built in 1952 on the south side of the town.

All of Levadiakos's honours are lower-division titles, including the Super League 2 in 2021-22 and 2023-24. After spending most of its first 25 years in the second tier, it reached the top flight for the first time in 1987 and stayed four seasons. After a further spell in 1993-95 it slid down to the fourth tier, winning the Delta Ethniki in 2001-02. Since 2005 it has moved often between the top two divisions. In 2025-26 it finished sixth, its best league position, scored more league goals (63) than any other team and reached the Greek Cup semi-finals for the second time.
