Our model prices every player's current output weekly — a model estimate, not a market price. These are the ten most valuable U21 players at Ligue 1 clubs — six of them PSG's, counted down to a €110m No 1.

Every week, Oddsivio recomputes an estimated value for thousands of players: a model estimate built from recent performance data — minutes, output, squad importance, age, level of competition. It is not a market price, not a transfer prediction, and not what a club would actually pay. Think of it as an honest, data-only answer to the question: how much footballing value is this player producing right now, for his age? For this list we took every player at a Ligue 1 club in our data and kept those aged 21 or younger on 12 August 2026 — born after 12 August 2004 — the same U21 definition you'll see on our own player pages. The window tried its usual vandalism — Endrick's loan ended and Madrid kept him, six more candidates were sold abroad, and two of the final ten are in live transfer sagas as we publish (both flagged in their entries) — but uniquely among our five league editions, the top ten itself survived intact. Values are a dated snapshot, taken 10 August, and we don't quietly re-cut a list. The complete list, refreshed weekly, is always at U21 player values in Ligue 1. The hardest cut: Lens' Pierre-Ismaëlo Ganiou, at €23.7m, who missed the ten by €107,000 and turned down half of Europe to stay anyway.

Three patterns. PSG is running a different sport: six of the ten are theirs, and four of them — Zaïre-Emery, Doué, Neves, Mayulu — sit in the global U21 top eleven of our whole model, more than any other club on earth. Win the Champions League twice with this age profile and the scariest part is the tense: it's all future. Lille is France's value machine: their trio (Bouaddi, Fernandez-Pardo, Mukau) cost roughly €10m combined to assemble and are priced at €105m by our model — with Manchester City reportedly near €90-100m for Bouaddi alone. And France develops players for everyone: three of the ten were born and trained in France or Belgium but chose other flags — Mbaye (Senegal), Bouaddi (Morocco), Mukau (DR Congo) — and between them they beat, drew with or made history against the countries that trained them. Ligue 1 remains world football's most generous academy.

Methodology: players at Ligue 1 clubs in our data, aged 21 or younger on 12 August 2026 (born after 12 August 2004) — the same U21 definition as our player-values browse filter — ranked by Oddsivio estimated value (point estimate) as of 10 August 2026. Values are model estimates from performance data, not market prices; confidence tiers reflect how much playing time the estimate rests on. Card stats are 2025/26, club and country combined. Excluded as not at Ligue 1 clubs for 2026/27: Endrick (Lyon loan ended June 2026; Real Madrid halted new loan talks on 10 August), Ethan Nwaneri (Arsenal; his Marseille spell was a January-June loan), Mike Penders (Strasbourg loan ended, returned to Chelsea), Afonso Moreira (Lyon to Bayer Leverkusen), George Ilenikhena (Monaco to Al-Ittihad in February), Arthur Vermeeren (Marseille loan ended, returned to RB Leipzig), Jérémy Jacquet (Rennes to Liverpool), Mamadou Sarr (Strasbourg loan recalled by Chelsea in February), Kassoum Ouattara (Monaco to Beşiktaş). Ayyoub Bouaddi's entry is flagged: a Manchester City transfer was in final negotiation at publish time, with a loan-back to Lille under discussion.
