Leagues Cup in brief
The Leagues Cup is an official club competition between Major League Soccer and Liga MX. Recent editions have featured 36 clubs, all 18 Liga MX teams and 18 qualified MLS teams, playing a cross-league Phase One before the knockout rounds. The top three finishers qualify for the Concacaf Champions Cup.
The 2026 season ran from 4 August 2026 to 7 September 2026.
