Overview

Çorum FK in brief

Corum FK are the professional football club of Corum, a city in north-central Turkey. The club trace their roots to Corum Belediyespor, the municipal side founded in 1997, and were relaunched as Yeni Corumspor in 2018, the year the club itself now treats as its founding, before taking the name Corum Futbol Kulubu in 2019. They play in red and black, adopted in 2014 in place of the original blue and white, and their home is the Corum City Stadium, a ground with fully covered stands that opened in 2022.

For most of its early years the club played amateur football. Winning the Regional Amateur League in 2011-12 lifted it into the TFF Third League, the fourth tier, where it spent seven seasons. A play-off win in 2018-19 brought promotion to the third tier, and in 2022-23 Corum FK won the TFF Second League White Group to reach the second tier for the first time.
