Wieczysta Kraków

Wieczysta Krakow, in full Klub Sportowy Wieczysta Krakow, were founded in 1942 during the German occupation of Poland, when Poles were barred from organised sport. After secret matches on the meadows of Rakowice, then a village on the edge of Krakow, local residents led by Edward Ignaszewski formed the club, which takes its name from the Wieczysta neighbourhood. The team wear yellow and black and are known as Zolto-czarni, the Yellow-Blacks. Their own ground on Kazimierza Chalupnika Street holds about 1,500 and does not meet higher-league standards, so after a 2025-26 season at ArcelorMittal Park in Sosnowiec they now play at Synerise Arena, Krakow's Henryk Reyman Municipal Stadium.

For most of their history Wieczysta played regional football in Lesser Poland. They spent six seasons in the fourth-tier IV liga from 1997 to 2003 and were relegated to the seventh-tier Klasa A in 2015. Businessman Wojciech Kwiecien invested in the club in June 2020, and promotions followed in five of the next six seasons: the 2020-21 regional league with 28 wins from 28 matches, the IV liga Lesser Poland West title in 2022, the III liga group IV title in 2024, and play-off wins to reach the I liga in 2025 and the Ekstraklasa in 2026, the last with a 2-1 final win over Chrobry Glogow on 31 May 2026. The club have not played in European competition.
