Chelsea's rating gap decides it — Chelsea are clearly the stronger side on our strength rating, and that is most of Chelsea's 89%. The draw at 7% is about what a gap this size usually leaves.
Why Chelsea at 89%?
Chelsea sit 486 points higher on our strength rating — 1935 to 1449. Sides with a more than 300-point rating edge at home won 79.7% of 5,090 such games. The 300 most similar past games finished 91–5–4.
Why not higher?
