Overview

OH Leuven in brief

Oud-Heverlee Leuven, usually shortened to OH Leuven or OHL, are the professional football club of the city of Leuven. The club was formed in 2002 from the merger of three local sides: Stade Leuven, Daring Club Leuven and FC Zwarte Duivels Oud-Heverlee. OHL play at Den Dreef, officially King Power at Den Dreef, in the Leuven suburb of Heverlee, which should not be confused with the separate municipality of Oud-Heverlee in the club's name.

White was chosen as the club colour in 2002, with the badge combining Stade's green, the black of Zwarte Duivels and Daring's red. The merged club climbed out of the third division and won the second-division title in 2010-11, bringing top-flight football back to Leuven for the first time since Stade Leuven's single top-flight season of 1949-50. In 2012 OHL became the first Leuven team to stay in the top division for more than one season.
