The contest stayed at 1-0 for long spells before Bahia found a second deep into stoppage time, Luciano Juba converting a penalty in the 90+1st minute to make it 2-0. Remo responded almost immediately, with Vitor Bueno scoring from the spot in the 90+6th minute, but there was no time left for a further twist and Bahia saw out the win.

Ceni's side sit fourth in the standings on 46 points from 27 games, while Condé's Remo remain 19th with 23 points from the same number of matches.
Marcelo Rangel was rated the outstanding figure on the pitch despite finishing on the losing side, while Vitor Bueno's stoppage-time penalty capped a display good enough for a 7.72 rating.

Sirius · Why these numbers
Before kick-off Sirius gave Bahia 59%, the draw 28%, Remo 13%. It finished Bahia 2–1 Remo.
Bahia's rating edge, but the draw is in play — Bahia are the stronger side on our strength rating, and Brasileirão Série A home advantage on top gives Bahia a clear lead. The draw at 28% is helped by a draw-heavy league.
Why Bahia at 59%?
Bahia sit 157 points higher on our strength rating — 1698 to 1541. Sides with a 100–200-point rating edge at home won 57.1% of 12,809 such games. Brasileirão Série A home sides out-perform the global norm — and the difference mostly flows to draws (27.0% vs 24.9% norm) and away wins (24.9% vs 30.2%). Brasileirão Série A homes won 48.1% of 4,444 games vs 44.9% across all 100,205 — outside the noise band, so the tally moves accordingly. The 300 most similar past games finished 54–28–18.
Why only 59%?
No scored evidence points the other way. 59% is what this rating gap has been worth in games like these; the rest is the draw at 28% and Remo at 13%.
Why is the draw second, ahead of the Remo win?
With a rating gap this size the draw starts at 24.2%. These teams' recent games average 2.5 goals — a typical goals environment. Games in that environment drew 26.2% of 27,830. Brasileirão Série A runs draw-heavy, adding 2.1 points. The goals environment adds 1.4 points to the draw.
What did we measure but not count?
Bahia average 14 points more possession, but the rating gap here is 157 points. Our control receipt only exists between near-equals — there it moved results; across a class gap we could not measure a separate style edge, so style scores 0 here. Remo scored +0.53 goals per game beyond chance-quality lately — hot streaks like that have cooled off. Measured across 2,867 games at this rating gap, hot-finishing sides won 42.1% vs 42.9% class-expected — inside the noise band, so it scores 0 until the receipt clears its evidence bar. The other measured facts on this page scored nothing either.
