Inter Miami

Inter Miami CF trace their origins to a clause in David Beckham's 2007 MLS contract giving him the option to buy an expansion team. He took it up in 2014, and on 29 January 2018 MLS awarded the Miami club to Beckham's group, including Jorge and Jose Mas. The full name is Club Internacional de Futbol Miami and the team plays in pink and black. Play began in 2020, with home games at a stadium in Fort Lauderdale, later named Chase Stadium, until the move to Nu Stadium in Miami on 4 April 2026.

Inter Miami's first trophy was the 2023 Leagues Cup, won 10-9 on penalties after a 1-1 draw with Nashville SC. In 2024 they won the Supporters' Shield and set an MLS record with 74 points, and on 6 December 2025 they won MLS Cup for the first time, beating the Vancouver Whitecaps 3-1 in Fort Lauderdale. At the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup they beat Porto 2-1 and reached the round of 16. On 16 September 2026 they beat Mexico's Cruz Azul 2-0 at Nu Stadium to win the Campeones Cup.
